Rich Dad – Poor Dad

Hi Friends,

Today we will discuss a book known as “Rich Dad – Poor Dad”. I read this book during the lockdown. When I read this book, I was totally shocked because I found something very interesting in financial intelligence. So let’s start –

About The Book "Rich Dad – Poor Dad":

First of all, I want to say you that success didn’t reach you in a single day. It takes some time, sometimes days, sometimes years. A live example is this book. When the book “Rich Dad – Poor Dad” wrote, it was avoided by most publishers. Even mostly publishers inserted and advised to drop to publish this book. But The Author Robert T. Kiyosaki didn’t accept because they are very clear on his idea. So basically the book published by his own publication. And after 20 years, the book succeeds a lot. Till now more than 32 million copies sold.

Characters:

There are 3 main characters in this book:

A Boy: We will read this book in his words. This means the boy reflects the author’s childhood

Poor Dad: Highly Educated but poor who reflects a common man

Rich Dad:  Who taught modern classic of personal finance

Basic Principles of Book:

When I read this book, I found many valuable points that we can learn. Some of them are mentioned below:
Rich people don’t work for money
Financial Literacy is also required as Educational Qualification
Focus on your work, not others
Overcome with Fear & Greed – Don’t be part of Rat Race
Work for learn - not for earn
People who are trying to only look rich can’t be rich
Make Assets not Liabilities
Make Passive sources of Income
Accept The problems
Take Initiative

Summary:

This is the story of a boy who learned with the experiences of Poor Dad (Real Father) and Rich Dad (his best friend’s father). According to the book, Poor father is highly educated but still, he faced financial crises. However, The Rich father is not too much educated but he knew about financial knowledge. This is the reason he becomes richer. Same he taught the boy.
